I've just returned from the Okoboji Writers' Retreat on the lake in Iowa, and I am jazzed about all the writers I communed with, sessions I sat in on, and poets who shared their work during my poetry sessions. About 200 participants spent three glorious days on the campus of the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory on West Lake, Okoboji. The sessions were guided by award-winning editors, authors, literary agents, columnists, poets, and writers from around the Midwest, some coming as far away as Texas!
It was an outstanding three days; I'm so looking forward to next year--how about joining us!
