Last Saturday I stopped by the Burrowing Owl for a chat with Jodi who was there autographing copies of her latest novel, The Wishing Quilt. Jodi is a fifth generation Texan and the author of more historical romance novels than I could list here if I typed all day! Nevertheless, Jodi said she was working on a new series and would have new manuscripts in the works. And, for all of us amateurs, this is exactly what makes a best-selling author--talent, creativity, and diligence. As Stephen King said, "keep your butt in the seat" (and I'm paraphrasing here.
