Cowboy Jack & Jill - For My Grandsons

Cowboy Jack and his gal Jill

drove their cattle up the hill

up the mountain steep and high

cool fresh water is their guide.

Cattle know the way to go;

they often travel to and fro

Winter, summer, spring, and fall,

The weathered path has seen it all.

Jack and Jill, they spend their time

Keeping count along the line

‘Til the weather starts to chill

Time to drive them down the hill.
